Sorry gals, dun mean to intrude... but just to share what I heard from my uncle who resides in Tanjong Pinang... swell of 3-5m high 2 days ago and Penguin ferries were forbidded to leave from Tanjong Pinang to Singapore then. Btw, Tanjong Pinang is part of Bintan island (on the opposite side of Bintan Resort). Wind condition is very strong.

Hence, do make sure you gals take good seasick pills before boarding the ferries. But side effect of taking seasick pills is it makes you damn lethargic after consumption.

Just pray hard for good weather!

I used to hv the phobia to take ferry across Batam or Bintan. I got this seasick pills which is made in Singapore from medical hall and I dun seems to have dizziness anymore.

I will bring it along if any of you wanna take...

hmmm.. i wish i get seasick, so that i can puke out everything and feel skinny.

you can try taking Novamin for sea-sickness. but as with all sea sick pills, take them 1-2hrs before the journey and not on the ferry or only when you feel sea sick. its best to take novamin 2hrs before and grab a nap, you will wake up feeling refresh and won't get sea sick. i use to take them when sea state was 3+

another way to avoid feeling sea sick is close your eyes and listen to music the moment you step onto the ferry and find a seat.
