My first Jioing post.

Anyone interested to join us for a 2D1N / 3D2N golfing trip around KL?

Let discuss on this Friday 8th Jan 2010 @ White Bar (Whooosh) when I am back in town.

Points to discuss.

1. Enroute (To play which course first and etc...)
2. 14th Jan but need to confirm timing to set off from Singapore (Most likely 4am)
3. Which place for us to rest our butts (Likely to be in KL)
4. Which holes to attack (Most likely 3 courses-2 days or 5 courses-3 days)
Namely Nilai, Starfield, Suajana, Clearwater, Tuanku Jaffar
5. Logistics arrangement (two small cars or 1 MPV)
6. ECA Arrangement (to visit alfa romeo workshop, visit old flame, etc...)

I will prepare some research copies for some decision making.
Hopefully will play clearwater and Suajana this time round.
Kindly check if the invisible 3rd ball joining us for discussion this friday?

The last time I played at Afarmosa was about a year ago and the conditions was bad. Fairway were burnt and there were no maintenance.
2 of us are NSRCC members and we will be getting complimentary green fees for all the courses, therefore each of us will only pay average around RM50 for each game.

Will be glad if you can join us. Try applying golf leave, the invisible 3rd ball had mentioned his boss will approve leave only if it's for golfing. kekeke....

Chrisd, A friend of mine will be playing Afarmosa this week, i ask him to check the condition again. We play Tuanku Jaffar last year, very bad condition. The grass on the fairway is as tall as the rough, totally waste of time.

You been to Staffield before? A bit difficult to find, better to have some allowances before the tee off time.

Since you are NSRCC member, then can also play Orna and Tiara in Melaka. Personally I find Tiara courses are well maintained and challenging.

I used to be a member of Staffield. Difficult to find. Last played there about 10+ years ago and it was gorgeous. Very nice course. Don't know what it's like now.

Played 5 courses around Negri last year. They are Staffield, Nilai, ERA, Seramban INT Golf Club, Royal Sri Melanti. ERA is the latest course and looks like horizon but much easier.
Looks like got to give Tuanku a miss and head to KL for a game there, KL games are way too x even for affiliation.

just my suggestion,

since u are leaving abt 4am on thurs, u probably can play nilai/staffield 8ish, but i'm not sure abt another 18 in the afternoon....think best to check in n get some rest or shopping or massage or spa etc, then on the 15th fri, u can play 36 thus if your intention is to play ssunjana, call hyatt to check out their play n stay package or even glenmarie as well, both courses have 36 holes...... if not nalai/staffield/kota permai/kachang hill are your alternatives, the latter 2 are nice courses (since KL golf are expenive), there are abt 5 golf courses in the shah alam area, just do a goggle search, but i will avoid jaffa tuanku....

if coming back on sat, then shd play either morning golf at nilai/staffied as both have full afflialation on weekends, nsrcc only has members rate on weekday for tiara/aformosa but not on weekend.......

willy sure have to give more strokes since he tompang all the way......

btw willy is giving us 2-2, stake is 30-60-hankYhanks for the suggestion. Will take that into consideration.

We should be able to reach nilai before 7am for breakfast follow by tee off at 730am or so. Follow by Check in hotel and night golf at KLC club only RM78 to tee off at 445pm.
Please prepare min S$300 or Rm700 for the trip.
Willy shall we close this if we find the 4th ball and latest by this Sunday.
