| First Impression: - The whites is very white, so much so that the Gramman shaft appears yellowish. Blue is striking. - BUT the coloring consistency is a bit questionable, esp along the ridge line between the two color zones. - Speaking of which, the ridge line between the two color zones and material is not seamless (may not be obvious in the third photo - sorry). But contrary to the belief, I do not feel the ridge at all.
First Use: - Soft (the white portion is softer than lamkin crossline, but not to the extend of golf pride DD2). - Tackiness is good, not to the extent of being sticky. The texture is like that of a good eraser. Totally different from Iomic and Winn, which is a bit "artificial and tuff". - Specs wise, it is heavier than your typical golf pride (57g to 48g), as in it will reduce the swing weight of your club. BUT my main qalm is that it is THICK - it felt like 1+2 even though it is only with one base layer.
Verdict (after 3 rounds): - It is a lamkin, true and true, as in good and reliable. At least, we are seeing them trying to jazz the design up a bit to rival golf pride. - The color on the lamkin logo is already starting to run, which i must say, golf pride still seems to have a slightly upper hand on quality. - So, bottomline, I think it will come down to price. And base from current products, I suspect this will still be slightly cheaper than your golf pride MC.

| I saw lamkin grips in BFG and Far East.... most club-fitters would carry them. But not sure if they have the N-DUR yet. | |
