| Thanks DWK, WMF for your suggestions. Looks like Jakarta is so hot, I'll need plenty of 'fluid' @DWK: Modern CC address in NSRCC website: Padang Golf Modern & Country Club JI. Modern Golf Raya Perumahan Kota Modern Tangerang 15117 Tel: 62 – 21 – 552 9228 Fax: 62 -21 -552 9177 / 87 Website: www.moderngolfcc.com I'll be taking taxi there so if it is hard to find, then perhaps i'll give it a miss and try Daiman Indah. | |

| Ok guys, now I need some help please. As mentioned, the plan is to play Cengkareng on 8 July. Called CIMB Worldcard to book just now and was told fullhouse. Another alternative is Damai Indah, and I've sent them an email but no response. Do you guys know any good golf conceirge to help with bookings? Good deal is always welcomed Thank you thank you! PS: Still very hopeful on Cengkareng, especially after DWK's *ahem*, commentaries | |

| Damai Indah is ok McMug... (I assume is PIK - Pantai Indah Kapuk). Very flat but very long though... hole 4 ahead are all very narrow and water hazards everywhere. So could be quite fun. If you play there, try to get tee off as early as possible (something like 6.30 or 6.45 if you can). I did 7.30 and got fifth degree burn when I finish - simply no trees and hot hot hot... (caddy also hot but if you get burnt playing the golf your clubs will not be in condition to be polished)
Now, about golf concierge, you can try visa platinum if you have one.. more expensive of course than CIMB since you actually pay but I think they have 30% discount green fee. If you are willing to pay full (weekdays about 550K and weekend something like 800K+) then can call them directly
BTW I have NEVER been successful booking Cengkareng with CIMB.
If you have CIMB try to get Imperial lah... worth playing and I like it more than PIK/Damai Indah. If you're willing to change gear and goes towards bogor, then try jagorawi - never played there but you can ask bro ps his exp. (with caddy too hehehe...

| Mcmug, there is another golf course called kaput (I think it is spelt that way), about 20 mins drive if traffic is good. You might want to try it out but hor, don't expect the same kind of 'service' standard as Cengkarang. | |

This is Mountain View golf course. Bandung. My home town. heh. I always play there when I go back. V challenging course. Hole no 10 or 1 (can't really recall now - as normally we play random holes). Random means no queuing. If hole 1 or 10 is full, then we'll proceed to the next available one See the similarity :

| There are quite a few courses like that in Indo.... Bandung, and then also Rainbow Hills.... Up and down and buggy on track.. Last time I played with my customers it took us more than 5 hrs as some of them really take the 5 minutes rules to heart...... Dave, sounds like you have a lot of "experience" | |

Dave, sounds like you have a lot of "experience" No experience with the caddy bro Some are really bochap and useless... some are really nice.... I prefer the caddy in Old Dago golf. Most of them are single handicappers....

| Ok! I'm back from my trip. Here's some summary of the courses I played: 1. Padang Modern Golf and Country Club (NSRCC Affiliate) approx Rp 325k + Rp100k tips Easy course with wide fairways. Course condition equivalent to Tg Puteri course A bah... Pretty deep fairway bunkers that can only use wedge to get it out. Slow greens. Yes, Caddy leave number on scorecard.... 2. Royale Jakarta Country Club (Halim 3) price, 1.2mil + 100k tips Looonng course with fast greens. Beautiful course and nasty rough though. Caddy more upmarket on Facebook and of course, made a missed call to her mobile Overall an enjoyable golf trip | |
