| Hi guys! I am thinking to re shaft my driver with something stiffer (and maybe also an inch shorter) (also need to re grip with golf pride MCC, and why not check lie and loft)
Bukit batok driving range is no too far from I stay and it has two shops : my golf shop and wiz golf (I avoid fesc because cannot try the shaft - for regriping can. That's where I usually go)
I saw some reco for Raymond for my golf shop when he was just moving in pasir panjang - so few years back. Then there is wizgolf but cannot find any info on the forum
Do people how to choose? Does these two shops target different people? Or provide different type of service/way of doing? Maybe different style for different people or different expectations or different budget?
Thanks sis and bro | |

| Once we went to a hawker centre and saw 2 chicken rice stalls.
One that I heard quite a bit about and the other quite unknown to me. And the former one had a long queue because it was quite famous.
Not knowing which to choose, we decided to buy from both the stalls.
When we were back at our table, we decided to do a comparison. In short, we both agreed that the popular stall suits the general taste better, rice more fragrant with the meat fatty ... But, my health conscience friend personally preferred the less popular stall because the meat was leaner and the hawker was very friendly...

| Raymond seldom has new shafts So if this you want to buy something new then it's Wiz
Raymond is 'cheap and cheerful', used shafts and used clubs aplenty I used to frequent Raymond a lot at Pasir Panjang for grip changes or pulling shafts (if you know what you wanted) He's a really nice chap and it's a pity his place now is kinda far...

| HI Kenny.. Sorry about the deviation... I understand where you are coming from.. IMHO, if you have time to find out more about your whole set of equipment and explore the various perimeters from trackman etc kind of tools, then yes Wizgolf has the bandwidth for you to enjoy.. They charge a minimum sum thus best to find out first. However, to get straight to the point of finding a stiffer shaft for your driver plus a bit about the shafts available, Raymond would definitely be good enough. Having said that, please arrange a time with Raymond so you can get his fullest attention when you are there... Also, now operating within a range, he is able to offer his advice while looking at you hit the balls. Another service I enjoy most about Raymond is he has a good stock of used shafts. Coincidentally he has more S flex shafts than R. Sorry to put you through the maze, and I really hope my post is of some better use this time. | |

| Pls go down after 4pm during weekdays and he is close on Sunday.
Spend some time with Raymond, he may give u some good advices to help ur game.
Actually, to stiffen ur driver shaft, u can tip (trim the shaft from its tip) to give it a stiffer and lower launch.
