| I have bought a set of J36 bridgestone combo. Very nice from the top, just like blade profile. Very good forgeing and happy with it.(except the coloured logo looks OB) Played only 1 round so far so good. Getting ready to sell my MX300. | |

seebayho, go find a club fitter and have the swingweight between the CL708 and the MX300 checked out. do you find yourself topping the ball? Colin SBH just BS itchy, he is not a beginner but a seasoned player...his ball striking is very good and he needs a players cavity or even MB. what he don't need is forgiveness in the irons but accepting that he can hit well 90% and not 100% of the time. Even the pros cannot hit a 100% of the time....period. but like all golfers the 6 inch between the left and right ear is the root of all problem. SBH must have gone through 3 sets in the last year but like he will say, "don't try don't know mah" DGman

the ball just check.. when landed on green.. vs... roll roll roll for cast irons.... I dun think so leh.... irons be it cast or forged, all can check.. i played with 14 year old kids checking and back spinning with cast irons. its all about how you strike. How a person hit doesn't necessary means the same results for others.

How a person hit doesn't necessary means the same results for others. My thoughts exactly. Wasn't having any problems getting my shots to check when I was using Titleist 990B DCI irons. In fact, the softer my hands at impact, the better it checked up. The harder I tried to mash the ball, the less likely it was to check @DGman, wah lao, then SBH ask questions like this for what? He should be playing MP68s or MP62 leow. kns... hahahaa

| ya, wifey was the one who bought me the MGs. She got CD handbag from me for Xmas too i like how singaporeans like to change clubs so often, lots of good stuff in the market, all in good condition, and quite often, pretty new models too. Not like Dubai, people here just buy and hoard, the used stuff is generally rubbish. maybe i should open golf shop here -- BFG Dubai branch? | |

SEEBAYHO!!!! DGman and JK, please don't flatter me I still have a long way to go. I was not active on golf for 5 years due to my job, now I have more time and wants some serious golf. It is very true, I am the backside itchy type always blames the tools. Now I blame my swing, I intend to go for a "Swing surgery" at RSS. I had an analaysis done and tried the drill and it seem seebayho ah...... Let me go for a lesson and let you all know. You see must try than know mah......

| hard to say, but what I love about BFG:
1. DGman is detailed 2. DGman doesn't jump to assumptions 3. DGman does the right thing (e.g. dynamic lie fitting, not static) 4. launch monitor on hand to determine what WORKS, not what feels good. 5. DGman doesn't push stuff. He lets me try out combinations so I can see for myself and then leaves me to decide whether to get it.
