| Hi. I play my game once a while and not very often my handicap is about 20+. I am looking for a forgiving iron set that will enable me to enjoy the game. I heard romaro alpha is the best choice. Any advice? Where can I try romaro in singapore. | |

| Hi,
I believe u can try out a few Brand’s like Romaro, Epon etc at the MBGC fitter.
I m using Epon. I must said it is soft, forgiving and wonderful. Have to try it to know it.

| The Romaro alpha is indeed forgiving
Some golfers even said its more forgiving than the previous Ray V Type R model
PErhaps you can explore the newer 2016 Type R models for Romaro
Epon 503 or 703 are good choices, but they cost more on the higher side, even for a used set

| I've used both I suggest you stick to Mizuno, but that's my personal experience
As a 22 Hcp I doubt there's any model that suits your skill level Someone else (single Hcp) started another thread sharing that he is 1-club shorter with his Romaro irons
My personal experience is also similar Feel wise, I doubt romaro is that much 'better' to warrant the price difference with Mizuno
Go to Transview as they carry Romaro See if they have an assembled club for you to try
I am now gaming romaro hybrids and wedges I've sold my Romaro irons I've kept my mizuno irons
The above is purely my experience Hope it helps you Enjoy your search

| I think I don't really care about the feel and softness. My primary focus is to get an iron set that is ultra forgiving and I likely will have a graphite shafts. Comparing romaro and mizuno now. What's the advice for forgiving and which model | |

I suggest you go to a club fitter The club fitter will probably carry a few brands and will probably have access to most mainstream graphite shafts I have a lady friend who bought a set of Crazy Sports irons from me. and insisted I recommend her some graphite shafts I sent her and the heads to my fitter and he did magic. Yesterday, she shot the best round of golf after 3 weeks with her new irons so the head, shaft and fitting does play a part in your decision

You may wanna consider XLN golf at Ubi My lady friend likes the fitting he did for her irons. Personally, I don't believe in club fitting myself but after he fitted my irons for me, my iron play has improved I don't swear by him, but I felt he is a good fitter. and also, he is a golfer

| Mizuno MP 5,I forgive them every time I hit a bad shot because they are so beautiful. There is no way you can stay angry at them, and the making up afterwards is great.
but truthfully, what Pocketace said, MP 53's are the most forgiving MP irons with the signature mizuno feel, and the JPX 850 cast model is a no brainer.

| Which is better? I think it's all personal feel. You will have to try out at range during a demo, borrow ur Frd's club in order to understand what u like. | |

| why restrict to these brands if ur priority is forgiveness? What other consideration u have? Selling point of Mizuno is feel so u may be looking in the wrong direction. | |

I think Mizuno clubs will be cheaper there I think. You can try out the EIII there =) It is Japan's best selling model for game improvement club. It is also very forgiving. These are the few models you could try, EIII Ti face EIII hot metal. I do agree its individual preference but this is something you could try out =) Hope it helps!!!
