Cheap new Driver shaft Empty
PostSubject: Cheap new Driver shaft   Cheap new Driver shaft I_icon_minitimeMon May 02, 2016 9:30 am

Currently using Titleist 975D with stock shaft. shaft weight is about 70g so thinking of changing to a lighter shaft to see if it will give me a bit more distance.

Initially wanted to swop with the shaft in my other driver but the 975D is bore through so it will shorten the club. Easiest way is to find a new shaft to replace but do not want to spend too much on it (975D only cost me $30). I doubt I can really tell the difference in premium and cheap shafts.

What is the range I will be looking at and where to find them?

Try finding another 975d with a lighter shaft at creative golf. The cost of buying a new shaft plus fitting does not seem to worth it unless u really like the head.

Maybe u can consider cutting down the shaft and play to a shorter length, it had given me a more consistent hit and also longer distance.

70gm for driver shaft is way too heavy unlike pro they are different,

for amateur 50gm stiff or 55gm regular would about right, this is for me.

I am referring to Asian spec Not US spec!
