| Hi GR friends, I'm going to be in the Gold Coast from the 1-9 Jan for a working holiday (well, more holiday than working). I'm being put up at the Royal Pines Resort which is famous for it's nice 27 hole golf course and I'm definitely going to be be trying it out! See the following site: http://www.royalpinesresort.com.au/golf-overview If anybody happens to be in that area during this time let me know - will be happy to meet up and play with you guys. Also, I can get a pretty good discount for a round of golf there. PM me if interested Cheers! AJKiwi | |

| My home town AJ I was a member at Royal Pines. It is where the Australian Ladies Masters is held and is a decent course. Very resort style with big fairways and huge greens. The condition of the course is always good. If you get a chance, have a round at the Glades or if you can get to Brisbane, try Brookwater. Both Greg Norman courses and really good. The beaches on the Gold Coast are worth a visit and there are some good golf stores to visit in Strathaird Road Bundall. Enjoy the trip! | |

| Ashmore Steak House. Just head north when u come out of Royal Pines and make a left on the roundabout. You'll see it on your left. Nothing more than 5min.
BigA$$ steaks. Everything huge. Not so much for the service though...

| Thanks guys! Big A$$ steaks but not so good service? I don't care about the service if the steaks are yummy! Looks like I might be doing more eating than golfing heh! Yup, will definitely report on everything when I get back (or while I'm there) :p | |

| There is a lot of golf course in Gold Coast .... The better one are Glades and Lakelands , Links Hope Island , Sanctuary Cove. But If you got time try Brookwater it's in Brisbane but it's top class course.
Here is a way to book cheaper rate sometimes ... http://www.iseekgolf.com/teetimes/
