Is there a singaporean playing in the field this week?

| Lexi Thompson is on fire @ -10 after the 3rd round!
It is a crowded leaderboard with Ariya J, Lydia KO and In-Gee Chun @ -9. Both Charley Hull and Ai Miyazato @ -8.
Michelle Wie with a newly implemented Jack Nicklaus-like putting style is 3 strokes behind the leader at -7. She still sticks to her table top and wide feet putting style for long put. But for shorter put, she adopted a Jack Nicklaus-like putting style. Seemed like it is working for her.

Is there a singaporean playing in the field this week? Saw a Malaysian player, Kelly Lim though (prolly MC) but none from Sg unfortunately ... This is a Major championship ... Not easy to get exemption ...

Not easy to get exemption ... The Malaysian lady is Kelly Tan who is playing in the LPGA tour for a few seasons now. She is good and she made the cut and finish in position T40 after the third round while many others like Jessica Korda, Sie Yong Kim, Morgan Pressel all MC.

| Looks like Lexi Thompson's fire is extinguished by Thai Ariya J who is now at -11 after 10th hole. Lydia Ko and In-Gee Chun are at -10 thru 10th. Charley Hull is one shot behind at -9. Michelle Wie & Lexi dropped to -6 and -7 respectively. | |

| My oh my! It is Lydia Ko's consecutive wins! She registered a score of -12 whilst Ariya J came in second at -11. Lexi however did not live up to everyone expectations even though she was the leader coming into the final round and ended up at -7. I guess she must be deeply disappointed. This suggests the importance of short game accuracy plus putting in LPGA. | |

This Thai lady is very talented, young and awesome. However she did not learn from her past mistake. A couple of years ago (maybe 2 or3) she led by I think 2 strokes going into the last hole 18 at the Thai LPGA tournament. She was two near the green on a par 5 and mess up big time and ended up triple bogey. This time she was 2 strokes ahead after 15 and ended up bogey 16,17 and 18. She did not even finish 2nd place. Either she is immature in thoughts or a bad caddy (giving her bad advice) or both. In any case I wish her good luck in the future as she has got exceptional talent and beauty too.

| Absolutely, the Thai lass is talented but lacking in experience perhaps and the killer instinct to capitalize on her advantage ... Poor finish ... Good showing from ex World no. 1 - Ai Miyazato. Korean In-Gee Chun is another talented up & coming golfer who won the US Open last year.
Lexi fired a eagle in the 3rd round last hole to lead at -10 going into the final round. Sadly, she faltered in the final round ... Thus proving that power play does not necessary has an edge in LPGA tourney ... However for PGA, one needs both power and accuracy ...

| Btw, Ariya didn't have any driver in her bag for this tourney. She used 2i and a strong 3 wood. She is a power hitter.
Lexi can bomb her driver to 285 yards ... Awesome!
Lydia Ko without a doubt is a short game maestro!
