Kraft Nabisco Championship Preview & Pairings (THE YEAR"S FIRST MAJOR!!)

After a very exciting start to the LPGA season, the LPGA will be staging its first major championship this week with the playing of the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

This will be the first of 5 major championships on the 2014 LPGA schedule.

Winning a major championship can go a long way towards achieving the LPGA's most prestigious season ending awards. Player of the Year points and Rookie of the Year points are doubled for major championships. Twenty-five percent will be added to the normal value of points rewarded for the Race to the CME Globe and its one million dollar first prize.

This will be tournament #7 of 32 on this year's LPGA schedule.

It's really exciting to see aggressive long hitters in the last flight. Can't wait for the final day.

I actually think the funny putting stance is working for her. isnt her stats for putting better? more important is that she is contending for trophy. Her game plan and how she manages her game seems to have changed.

Absolutely bro ... If she keeps grinding & perseveres, one day she will end her winless drought ...

Michelle had a golden chance to seize her first major title ... She played conservatively off the tee for the most part. However, she was unimpressive on the greens with her unusual stooped putting style. Not for the first time, she missed several short putts, including a two-footer at the eighth hole, and her mediocre putting ultimately cost her any chance of winning ... At the 13th hole, she inexplicably left a five-foot birdie chance short, and lost the chances of recovering and squandered all her opportunities to win ... Perhaps she tried too hard ... Better luck next time, babe ...
