I wonder if anyone of you like me would unscrew the cleats of my golf shoes to clean and remove the grass and dirt in the hole as well as the cleats? I do it after 2-3 rounds of play.

I did the above even though I would wash my shoes at home after every round and I would usually wash my shoes at the washing area before entering the changing room ...

No, I don't but if I am going to Oz for golf then I would.

But this days with the cleatless golf shoes, it helps a lot.

Thanks for your kind words ... I understand that if one does not clean the holes and cleats, after sometime, one cannot unscrew and replace the cleats ... I experienced this problem in the past. The body of the shoes usually outlast the cleats ... If the golf shoes are cheap, we can dump them without second thought ...  Laughing

Maybe I should buy those shoes with cleats integrated to the sole to save me the time ... Something like the latest Adidas Boosts series ... Cool

I felt that this cleatless golf shoes do not provide sufficient traction on wet grass ... If the grass is dry, not too bad ...

The latest Adidas Boost series may be the solution to the above situation ... Best of both worlds ...

cleats give more option cleatless shoes needs to be change after they wear off. those with cleats, can change once they wear out. for both types, you can choose to throw when cleats worn out
