Beginner Golfer

Hi everyone !

New to singapore. A colleague poisoned me to pickup golf again after stopping for almost 15 years affraid

and have been quite hooked about it. I have been self teaching Rolling Eyes

myself for the past few months. Picked up a set for beginners and I usually go to the range at Punggol (PAR) during the evenings whenever I can.

Hoping to meet some kakis and make new friends here in singapore. !

I golf in Batam twice a month and its a good training ground for beginners. Golfing with caddies eases the pain. PM me if you guys wanna join me in Batam for a daytrip or stay and play.

golfing in batam... need certain level or not? dont want to make a fool of myself lol!

but i definitely dont mind trying..best way to improve is to hit the course. theres a limit to what u can learn/improve at the range.

Batam most of the male caddies are good. They will guide you along can give some tips.

Batam golf is relaxing if you have plenty of time. I played a few times in the past. But, it may take whole day plus taking taxi trips around the island. I think JB courses are cheaper options, some courses are pretty good quality and can control own time.

hi... im also a beginner... started to play with some of the forum guys from this forum. they are very friendly too... i try to play twice a month... can't afford more... im staying at toa payoh central. normally i take a ride with my friend to jb for golf games..

i'm staying in pasir ris, so i usually golf nearby. Punggol Driving range has been my home base for the past few months, practicing like crazy over there.
i'm going to try to play at Mandai executive since i was told its a easy beginner course. Hopefully they would let me play solo ! lol!

still shy to play with others..

Also considered myself a beginner. Staying in AMK and practising in Sin Ming range at the moment but may have to move to Toa Payoh in Nov. Would like to try playing in JB but do not know how to go about it and how much it would costs. Any idea?
