TM is very driven by shareholders (Adidas) ... TM has no choice but to continue to generate innovative "novelties" (which is usually a flash in the pan) to entice the customers to buy or change clubs, and of course to improve their revenue/bottom line ... I believe this strategy will not sustain in the long run ... TM has now become a mass market of clubs producer ... I liken that to Giordano from HK and Zara from Spain in fashion which change their designs on a quarterly basis ... Zara can survive because their market is huge globally, their pricing is not eroded globally, and their designs which keep pace with the prevailing trends appeal to both young and not-so-young customers ...
