PostSubject: Malaysian VEP    Malaysian VEP I_icon_minitimeTue Aug 18, 2015 9:55 pm

Just wanted to start a thread to keep ourselves updated on this Malaysian VEP thing.

I for one, have not registered. Just cause I am not sure if registering if going to cause me more problems than not registering.

lol!

That's a good one, bro - "registering is more problematic than not registering".  Very Happy

Yes by registering they will at the same time clear off all outstanding fines owed by the drivers

No problem paying fines, if they are correct. Problem is that the one time I encountered it, it was just a means to get some kopi money!

Would be great if the "pioneers" update us on the intricacies.

I would be highly conscious of registering until all your summons are paid up.

i can't figure out how to check for summons though. When i go into myeg.com.my to check, they only allow you to check by passport/ID number, which of course turns out to have no summons against my name but i was previously stopped and there was a stack of summons under the previous owner.

Anyway when I show them the LTA transfer date, they let me go but not before having to wait at the station for an hour or so. The old summons are all still in the system.

Anyone know how to check for summons using car plate?
