Go and join la, as long got $50k p.a. 1st year free waiver. personally i feel quite worth it, the far card and palate dining privileges are good.

Golfing benefits I have not tried, as require a paying guest. So u can get a friend to join u and split the cost with him.

Mine is just the normal amex platinum card.

Anyway, I wanted to try book a game thru the concierge and indeed fuss free. So I will be playing at Warren, tgt with my friend who will be the "paying guest". need to pay $22 buggy fees for myself, $165 for the guest, so total is $200 includ gst. Each pay $100. So mbgc is still cheaper, but will be good for those who stay in the west or north because there is Sembawang, Warren, RCC, JCC and OCC.

Hey just to check, the full paying guest will be paying based on guest or visitor rates? Based on matoonia's post, I presume its visitor rates?

actually, would it worth the hassle to just drive across the causeway to play at Horizon, if one were to play at RCC?

Yes it's visitor rates. But the good thing is for Warren, we played 2 balls. Not an easy course I must say, got 1 super long par 5. But all in all, it's quite a nice course
