| I use jiff and plastic brush. Then I wipe it with singa oil. Seems ok. Doing it for long time. | |

| I always tell my golfer frens to periodically give their grip a scrub down with a wet towel with a bit of hand soap. It extends the life of your grip (remove grease), keeps the grip soft and tacky, almost like new grips... if it is not worn out by golfer gripping the club too tightly | |

| Just like some folks believe in self healing......I believe in self-cleaning.....don clean club...next game, hit more...hopefully some dirt or chunks of mud will driop off......if not, the ultimate which is now happening quite frequently is go to pond to soak club..... | |

| I use dishwashing liquid and water, then spray WD40, no problems. | |

| i avoid the wd40 part because the oil might get onto my gloves/hands when removing the club from the bag and affect my grip.
i guess using iron covers should solve this problem

| I use Baby Oil or Singer Oil. I dislike WD40... I think it's a little too strong. | |

| Bio-degradable abrasive paste called Astonish for me. The slight abrasive action coupled with a tootbrush cleans out the grooves good. I leave out the oil, it gets everywhere.
I do the same to my white golf shoes, works like magic to remove the orange clay which seems to get stuck in the pores of the leather. When dry, I put a layer of heavy duty water repellant for outdoor fabrics from Scotch Guard. When that is dry, a layer of neutral kiwi. The dirt doesn't stick as much and keeps it off longer.
The grips I clean with dish washing detergent and a toothbrush.

| Sorry la, when I bathe I need to use soap so no need to scrub too hard. I got sensitive skin ma, scrub too hard, painful and end up red all over. How to get any dates like that? | |

| Spent the weekend scrubbing down grips and grooves with dishwashing liquid, a 3M scouring pad, and a sink. Rinse off all soap with clean water, towel dry immediately, then leave in well-ventilated area to air dry (takes around an hour).
Also, I soaked the heads in water for 10 minutes before scrubbing them down - the stuff between the grooves come out more easily that way
