i have chosen a shorter but heavier BF. 33" weight 20.

but probably you need to add on one more... price..
if the GF is too expensive for you to maintain or get, have to opt for something else...

I've not read the bulk of the posts in this thread though I'm sure that it's very useful information.

My take is this: My preference is also a blade putter. I've tried the Ping, Odyssey Black #2, Scotty Cameron Newport 2 MS and Yes! Abbie.

Of these, my favorite is the Yes! Abbie. I think it's a great putter and there's something about the C-grooves which gives the ball a smooth roll. I also like the weight of the putter and overall fee.

That said, putters are perhaps the most personal club in the bag. You may need to try many putters before you find one which suits you. But you may also find a good putter on your first go. Ultimately, finding a suitable putter isn't an easy task. As your game changes, it is possible that your putter will change too (though this is less likely if you find a putter which you're very comfortable with).

I would recommend that before you decide on a putter, pay a visit to a clubfitter to see what putter length suits you and whether a blade putter works best for you. There are other options including mallets and semi-mallets.

Thereafter, a good place to try putters is to visit a 2nd hand store like Creative Golf. They have so many different putters there and you can test out the various options. Of course, the putters are 2nd hand and you may be comfortable with a 2nd hand putter OR you may opt to buy a brand new one once you've seen a putter you like.

Don't get swayed by brands and marketing. Putters are very individual. Find one which suits your play rather than play one which you think should suit you.
