| You will notice that most of the cars mentioned are non continental cars! Even smaller cars like Toyota Vios can fit.
Continental cars tends to have more padding in the boot and makes putting golf bags more difficult. Even luxury models like BMW 7 series cannot carry more than 3 golf bags without taking out drivers/wood.
But the key question is really how often do you carry more than 1 or 2 golf bags? As long as one of your kaki that goes to JB often has a car that can carry 4 golf bags - your problem is solved. At most pay for his petrol and toll! More critical is what is your daily need.

| Second Nissan Sunny having a big boot. It has swallowed 4 usual sized cart bags with space for 2 boston bags, no problem - with pretty sufficient power ferrying four *average* adults to boot! (pun intended). Currently driving this and dread the day COE expires and have to replace with the current available sedans with much smaller boots.
Not sure about the new current Mazda 3, but the older ones definitely cannot fit even one cart bag horizontally. I had seen it before and it has to be fitted in diagonally. Same story for the current BMW 3 series. I suspect the older sedans will be a better bet if one is looking for a bigger boot space.

| When I was shopping for new car, the new Mazda 3 saloon could keep golf bag horizontally and probably can carry 3 (maybe 4) without problem. | |

| One may think Porsche Cayenne can take 4 bags but no. Need to remove driver due to the excessive padding in the boot. Freelander 2 is another big car that can't take 4 golf bags. | |

Hatchback confirm cannot, just like the Lation hatchback Sports. Only the notchback can swallow 4 bags with ease. Not mine but a friend's. It was the Mazda 3 with a boot (not hatchback). The wheel arches somehow *ate* into the usable boot space. I commented that it was actually a pretty nice looker (since it was just launched then) but he told me it was all nice but cannot fit even one cart bag and I was surprised further when he showed me what he meant. Incidentally, I had went to the Mazda showroom to see the current new 3, and they had a golf bag (no clubs tho) in the boot for potential buyers and must have had numerous queries! Maybe he had an *extra* long driver but I was very sure and made a mental note Mazda 3 was not a choice car should I need to replace my Sunny when it expires. Bottom line - suggest car buyers to bring their actual golf bags along when test driving cars so as to eliminate any doubts of what ifs.

| On the contrary, when i purchase my car, i notice that the older cars can easily fit in up to 4 golf bags. But the new cars boot size are now smaller. Till date, i only know of 2 saloon cars that can fit up to 4 golf bags, Nissan Teena and Camry. The rest of the new cars will need to take out driver/woods etc.
Eg, My old BMW 520 can fit in 4 golf bags easily, but new BMW 520 cannot.
The most safe bet would be a MPV, which confirm can put in 4 golf bag with space for boston bag and water. My old Touran, can fit in 4 bags and luggage to drive up to KL for golf

Yes, agree. One of my ex-colleague had a City and the boot space was wow! I think it's the 2003 - 2005 model. Yup.. I had that car. 4 ppl go JB.. 4 bag.. still got space to put their boston bag somemore.. super duper big. The older Odyssey also can... with the rear seat down.. can fit 4 bag. water.. boston bag.. and almost anything else.. and can sit 4 huge guys comfortably.. and can cruise at speed access 180km/h with no issues.

Nissan Murano can put 5 bags without a fuss. Yes fully agreed Latio ~ small on the outside but BIG inside! The boot space for 4 golf bag plus Boston bag no problem. Honda Civic 3 golf bag very tight already can't moved! BMW BIG outside But small inside due to it's cushioning in the boot! Driver has to be removed!

Wifey wanted to change car to Mini Cooper Cabriolet... I brought our two golf bags to the Mini Habitat to try before buying... Must fold down rear seats, take out driver and place them in between the two bags.. Of course must drive top up only and only the two of us... I guess if we are so addicted to golf, we'd make anything work...

| In Vancouver, we use a Honda Accord (I think the model might be different in North America compared to Asia) and it fits 1 cart bag and 3 stand bags as well as a clicgear very comfortably in the boot Our go-to car for golf road trips! | |

| To my surprise, even Honda Fit can also fit in 4 stand Bags without putting down the back seats...!!! So can a Kia Forte and the slightly older Mercedes C200.
I know the Jaguar XF, BMW 3 & 5, Lexis IS250 all cannot fit in 4 bags.
Anyone knows if AUDI A3/4/5/6 Sedan can fit in 4 bags?
Nobody here mention about SUBARU cars at all? Can the SUBARU Legacy Sedan take 4 golf bags?
We should exclude all Avant, Wagons, MPVs & SUVs... Purely on Hatchbacks and Sedans...
