| Tiger was never my #1 either. I always considered him to be an awesome golfer but to me, there are other characteristics which make him a great golfer such as personality etc. I prefer Phil and Paddy. | |

| Its sad that he's taking an infinite break from golf as he's one of the main reason why I started golfing.. Used to think that golfing is a waste of time and money and not challenging enough until I started watching US Open...
He does have to be blamed for his own personal mess but golf will not be the same without him...

Bro, I would agree that it's his personal life but how he behaves off the course affects how people regard him. TW is idolized by millions, especially young golfers around the world. He has a responsibility and an obligation to be a great role model on and off the course. To paraphrase what I read in the Straits Times recently, if only he took his superhuman abilities on the course and applied them in his own life, he would be a real hero.

Will definitely miss the gang but I'll be back. The good thing about taking a hiatus from golf is that I'll be back with a renewed perspective but the same expectations.

| I agree too that the media loves these kind of news. Also , the other main contenders are happy that this predicament has happened to Tiger. Lets give Tiger a break ! | |

| Tiger should learn from his pal Roger Federer on how to be a Champion.
A day before the start of the Australian Open 2010, he organised a Charity game involving all the top players to raise funds for the Haiti victims, raising about AUS$200k. It is also rumoured that at the start of season, he will introduce himself to the young new players and then bring them around to introduce other existing players on tour to them.
And like Tiger in golf, Federer is in many peoples' mind, the greatest tennis champ of all time.
