- there is nothing "perceived" if you use it for what it is worth. you can be a lowly club fitter and still use an Apple. My friend a award winning copywriter gave up his high paying job in singapore, moved to Sydney with his family because he love the lifestyle. he now works in the 2nd biggest Apple store in the world selling Apple....
think about it....are you looking for the perks that comes with the job or maybe its power rather than money that you seek.
DGman simi "lowly club fitter"... kns, you're one of the best in Singapore leow. I dont think MM and LCB go to you cos you're super yan dao lor hahha

- thats the reason why the share price is over US$200...and Steve Jobs still pay himself $1 salary. he is far from the richest in the world and the man is as passionate now as in the Lisa days. a little bit more business savvy perhaps but still a visionary.
all said and done...a lot of the stuff we see in the iphone today are developed in china.
lets put it this way....once you use an Apple, nothing comes close.
DGman You do realize that Uncle jobs takes $1 salary but gets A LOT in terms of profit sharing and stock prices, right? If I pay myself $1 cash and take the rest of my pay in stocks, that's still A LOT of money, esp since he's got a whole army of geniuses who can make the stock price skyrocket at his will. The only time I saw Apple stock price take a dip in recent years was when he took some time out for medical reasons

| seebayho,
nice post. i am not surprised that Apple has that in the pipeline. They already booked an auditorium in San Francsico on Jan 22 to make some announcement
