Your choice for Golf improvement

With all the different options to improve our games, I wonder which will be the most preferred choice for us.
It will be interesting to know how bros here think, especially when time & money comes into consideration...

but I have to agree on the loads of games to practice result.  practice where you play is a good advice.

I guess it depends on which part of your golfing journey you are on

I was having a similar conversation with my kakis who are high single digit to low-mid teens hcp players

For them when they play their best games (high 70s low 80s) are days when they made a bunch of putts. Every putt they try, they managed to get the ball in the cup or very close. Putting putting putting is key.

For them, it's not about a swing coach. Length off the tee or shaping shots is not an issue. It's about getting close. They are assured about their equip and seldom need to change. They play often enough (those one-game-per-month golfers will find it hard to bring their hcp down)

Will be interesting if you preface the survey with a question on the individual's handicap before they make their selection.

for me it's three steps:
1. Golf lessons
2. Fitting
3. Lots of practice at the range

Golf lesson is kinda useless if you don't practice a lot what you have learned.
