I got mine brand new on Amazon. Knocked a good $150-200 off Singapore's retail.

If you have friends coming back from US, ask them to buy back for you. Its much cheaper there.

accuracy wise not much. speed of reading distance and auto pin seeking instead of optional pin seeking. the rest is cosmetic.

V3 has a jolt technology which V2 does not. I am using V3 non slope, and it is easy to seek the pin. V2 which my friend is using has problem seeking out the exact distance and at times, may give you reading behind the pin.

If you can afford a bit more, the new bushnell non slope such as Z6 is quite nice with the internal reading illuminated in red colour. It all voice down to cost.

Alternatively, if the trade off a bit of accuracy with a voice caddy which is worth around $200 plus minus. I have 1 brand new for sale if you are interested.

I re entry bought a Tour V3 from Transview, no regrets becoz nowadays uses it a lot, really good for looking at all distance aspect of your game, to water, bunker, pin, player..... Walue buy.

Is the slope function really necessary? Seems like this function cost quite a lot

slope function is good to have when you are starting out. it adjusts for your distance affected by slope. so there is no guesswork.

SGA and most local clubs now allow using a distance finder but not one with slope reading, if you use onevwith slope in a formal competition, it's considered illegal.

Those range finders are pretty much useless when your hand is shaking. When you are on the 12th hole and you aim for the flag with your shaking hand, it's hard to aim at your target.
