Recommended golf course in JB?

Apart from Pulai Spring, what other recommended golf course in JB?

Tanjong Puteri, Horizon Hills, Palm Villas, Orchard, Palm Resorts.

Starhill not bad.

which golf course you prefer most?

Just went to Tg Puteri Straits course (B course) yesterday. Condition was very good in my opinion and would have put some of the local courses to shame. RM 120 for Sunday pm rate.

I usually golf in HH or Tg Puteri. 
HH should be the nicest and most challenging course in JB.

IOI Palm Villa (27 holes) via Tuas (without jam) will take at most 30~40 mins. rm159 (Sat pm), rm 135 (Sun PM). Booked via Oscar. The course is reasonably good. We go there almost every weekends. Near to shopping mall. IOI Giant and Aeon. Eat and buy grocery there. Most often bought lots of Yakult there. rm8.50 for 10 bottles compared to SGD3.50 for 5 bottles.

Hi Billcoke, perhaps you could share with the forum what type of golf course you are looking for? Are you looking for a challenging course or easy course, perhaps a less crowded course or one that allows you to walk rather than ride a buggy or nearby city versus far? This would help narrow down the choices. Cheers!

We are looking for easy course, buggy, 1-2 hrs drive from Singapore.

which are the JB courses that allows buggy on fairway during normal days? i know IOI palm villa does allow.. any others?

I would suggest following : Palm Resort (Alamanda course), Tanjung Puteri, Ponderosa, and Legends for consideration. Palm Villa too.
