Jokes aside guys
It's better not get married now, then get into messy divorce later with wife and kids in tow

If they are clear that they are not prepared to settle now and make sacrifices given that they are at the peak of their sporting career, then so be it

But to constantly have tabloids writing about them getting together, then (allegedly) breaking up, then announced engagement, then now call off wedding is quite damaging. Their PR manager needs to get better

It'll be a shame if Rory did not fulfill his potential due to all the off-the-course issues. Hope he gets over CW soon and be the golfer that we all know he is capable of.

looked like rory was able to play pretty well today despite his off-course distractions... 2 eagles and 3 birdies on his way to shooting 68 at wentworth!

we all know how hard the game is with a clear head.... can't imagine what it would be like to play with so much going on inside the head... good for him and hope he makes it to the weekend!

I agree wholeheartedly with 18Underpar ... It ain't easy mentally playing at the level of PGA Tour ... At this professional level, besides being fit to sustain thru out the 4 rounds, one needs to be mentally robust just like Tiger once was during his younger days ... It appears that the latter no longer the old Tiger (mentally) he was once after the off-course embarrassing saga years ago ...

definitely--and i guess when you get older, priorities change. When once he was all about golf, now, he is a single parent of two kids as well.

Not saying golf isn't important to him anymore, but priorities definitely change. Hope he does get his 18+ majors though Smile
