| Been trying to look for a fairway wood with a more compact head. More of a preference (when addressing) and with a smaller head, i personally feel that I play it better off the fairway.. Used to have my old Mizuno MP001 fairway woods.. They are not the hottest clubs then, but serve me very well over the years. Need to replace them (quite beaten up). Tried my neighbour taylormade RBZ woods but not used to bigger heads (I know it adds distance and confidence)..
Folks, any recommendations? Heard good things about Titleist 913 woods and even Cobras but have not tried them..

| You can take a look at Titleist 913H 17° loft (more common one is 19° and 21° though). It is classified under Hybrids but gives you a 4-wood range with only a 117cc head. | |

tempting.. 913 F series? 3 wood or 5 wood? Stock shaft? Not sure if titleist has US and JVspecs. Either one, can you whatsapp me the condition, shaft flex pics of your clubs (sole, face) and price? Many questions. and Thanks. Chris - 9six nine0 four eight 6 seven.

| 913F fairway wood to me is one of the best on the market. Small footprint and shallow head makes it so easy to hit off the fairway and off the tee. I tested between the covert 2.0 and the 913F (both of which are amongst the smaller fairway woods on the market), and distance wise the covert 2.0 was going about 255 yards while the 913F was going about 250 yards on GC2. However, the feel and sound of the 913F was much better in my opinion and much straighter. So I went for the 913F instead of the covert 2.0 in the end. I'm thinking of selling my 913f however to raise funds for a scotty (long time dream and since my 712U 2 iron is doing me very well). It's been hit twice at the range (20 balls in total maybe) and is as good as new. Bought for 380 at golf house after standard 20% discount. Am willing to let it go at 350 (includes genuine titleist headcover). Stock diamana s+ blue stiff flex. If interested can whatsapp me for pictures at 9734 7968. Or look out for my WTS post soon | |

| Oh and I forgot to add. I tested the SLDR 3 wood too on GC2. Small footprint much like the 913F and covert 2.0 with a shallow face. Was going the longest distance but not as forgiving. Off centre hits only measured 210-220. Worth a try though if you come across it | |

| One thing to wAtch out for is also the length of the stock shaft. Sometime of half of the times, The extra yardage is also due to extra 0.5 or 1 inch. Pure physics.. If contact is good, Longer shaft also means more yardage..Which also means adjustment is required to break in the "new" swing. | |
