| I intend to go Batam from 3-5th May for golf. I planned to pick my friends and wanting to park my car for the 3 days in TMFT.
Can anyone please confirm if the carpark charges is max. $20 per day??? It makes a lot more sense than each of us taking a cab to / fro TMFT.
Appreciate your response.
Many thanks.................

Anyway, my wife don't drive and the taxi fare is about $25+ each way. Thus, parking there will be more economical

| Tanah Ferry Terminal is extremely expensive, gone are the days when you only need to place 3 - 90cts coupon per day!! it has been up up all the way ever since they put ERP type charges!! | |

| Cab not cheap too unless u r staying at Changi or less than $20 per trip. Parking there is more economical than taking cab for me as I stay in the west. Haha, as what pple always said,"last time, meepok dry only $1.20!".. | |

| Makes more sense to catch a cab there if you are parking more than 1 day unless friends are sharing the cost. The problem is the scarcity of cabs from TMFT. Super long queue, or all on call so better book taxi before arrival. | |

| Ok, I was back on Monday. So the carpark charges from 3rd (Sat) about 0630 hrs to 5th (Mon) about 1630 hrs is $50.70.
And yes, the taxi queue is ridiculously long, most taxi coming in are on-call but there were some "limo" taxi waiting for you if you are willing to pay their asking price.......

do we need to buy those travelling bags ? or normal cart / stand bag will be good enough? Where in Indonesia you are going? Use a travel cover even though you are going to Batam / Bintan, cos the bag handlers are not "gentle"

| all the golf bags are stacked up at the back of ferry, and handlers don't treat it as "fragile" cargo.. So all down to how protective is your golf bag and with or w/o club covers.. | |
