Anyone know if this is open to the public? Looks like a good chance to watch some good golf live!

Am quite surprised.. Very little publicity and A&P on the event...

Supposed to be held in Korea.....last minute venue switch.

If this s so, they hve to after the 6,825 tonne Sewol ship capsized on April 16 with 476 people and it sank will 325 high school students -- around 250 of whom are either confirmed or presumed dead.
Its a sadden tragic n big blow to many South Korean.
Hope this event organizer ll donate the winning monies to the affected needg families tat had losses young lifes.

It looks like it is open to the public and free, and a shuttle bus is being provided from the Expo MRT station: http://www.thechampionship.sg/spectators.html.

First round starts Thursday 1 May at 07:15.

Full credit to Laguna National and European tour for putting this together in 3 weeks

Best of all, letting spectators watch for free

I hope the weather will cooperate and a successful tournament

Open to public, free of charge as this is an addition schedule and change of venue. Worth to go check out some of the players.

yes, but it is stated first come first serve. given they will reserve parking lots for VIP... you may better luck parking at Expo (or CBP since expo parking is EX) and take the shuttle bus.

The weather was good and the golf even better. Spent a few hours there today, and look forward to returning on the weekend. For the couch potatoes, Starhub is carrying it live on Supersports Arena.

Walk the course and stay outside the ropes. You get amazing access. Tiger cans @ $5.50 at the halfway house. Didn't try the bee hoon or mee goreng, but they looked good Wink

Parking did not appear to be a problem as they use the grass along the Laguna Green canal for visitor parking... but it might be more busy on the weekend so don't take my word for it.

Wah, 9 under for first round? Wow, wonder if they will be able to break the world record 55 for a round of golf by the 4th day after getting more comfortable with the course.

I was there earlier with the wife

Given the short notice, they can put together this tournament deserves the kudos

I enjoyed watching the pros hit shots

The greens seemed to be pretty slick!

Hope the crowds will come over the weekends

Else they dunno what they missing

Oh, did I mention the Carlsberg ladies at hospitality area? They're lovely!

Think they only had 2-3 weeks notice.

Kudos to the team for putting it together
