| Throw away that driver and buy new ones until u can hit ur driver to ur desired distance.
That usual works for me.

| Try the callaway mini 1.5.
Think about it... if every driver can give u 15 yards more, shldnt the pros be hitting >500 yards by now?
Finding the right equipment to suit u is impt....having the swing to use any equipment is definitely more impt.

| Quite true, usually we blame the equipment rather than our swing...that's how OEM earn our money! 5555 | |

| 1) Do not cut your driver shaft. Just buy a shorter driver. Or live with a longer one. 2) Driving 180 metres (about 200 yards) consistently is good enough for amateurs. 3) Enjoy your game no matter what happens to your swing. 4) Keep calm and smooth. You may hit your ball more precisely this way. 5) Concentrate more on your short game if you cannot drive far. | |

| Golf swing is far more important than the most expensive driver you can buy ! | |

I agree ... Because I have seen my friend using a cheap pre-loved TM Burner driver out drove all his flight mates who are using expensive JDM drivers. It is always wiser to use the money to hire a qualified swing coach ...

| Concept of far is always relative. If you want to compare to the pros, then you need to hit 300m to be consider far. I think it is more important if your driver can bring you the distance and put on the short grass so that you can attack the green and on it consistently with your second shot. | |

| I have been hitting like 180m - 190m. Thought of breaking through 200m. | |

| Given modern courses length, i think good competitive distance for driver would be around 200-240m from Blue tee. Gives you good chance to play short iron into the green. Just my thinking. | |
