| HI Tigercrab, my input will be:
A'famorsa - Easy to find, great signage and there is a giant colourful ice-cream cone that you just can't miss from the highway. Generally friendly course, compulsory caddy, buggy on fairway, good for beginners. We (2 balls) finished in 2.5 hours.
Tiara Melaka - Nice condition, quite pretty golf course, lots monkeys. Not really for beginner, challenging and I especially remember once your ball go into the rough, very difficult to find the ball. If condition of course is your top priority, this should be the one to play.
Ayer Keroh - Not really fair to assess the condition as I played it last month during the unusually dry period. Very hard, dry, brown. Some tee boxes I cannot stick my tee in. It is in between Tiara and A'famorsa in terms of course difficulty, big mature trees around. Not too hard, but not exactly easy as well.
Hope this helps. Cheers.

| Did not find Tiara too tough. And I play to 18. You will enjoy it. | |

| Looks like you already know the makan places. Makko is my favourite nonya restaurant too. Walk down Makko a few shops you will find a good dessert shop serving best chendol in Melaka, and then 2 shops more you get Scents and Senses, one of the better spas. You can also go across the main road to the other side and try Auntie Fatso's cheese beehoon. Around Hatten area you will find many good restaurants anyway. | |

| Tiara has 3 nine, Lake is easier woodland will be most difficult. FYI Tanjong Puteri has affilation with Tiara, asking the introduction letter from club house you just need to pay buggy fees. | |

| If you never played Tiara before why not give them a try? Woodland is interesting nine but if you plan to play from blue tee, it will be hard if your driving distance is less than 230m. Quite sometimes never played there so cannot comment the course condition. As for Orna is short course. | |

| Update on Malacca game. Just played two rds at Tiara last few days, very satisfied with the condition. ground a bit hard so can expect plenty of roll. greens were great, very fast as compare to Tg puteri straits which we played on first day of the trip. Lake course is challenging n interesting, Woodlands very tight n challenging , this 9 holes felt hotter n more stuffy, maybe it is set in a valley or enclosed by woods ??! Meadows pale a bit after we played the first two 9s, feels like a easier Lake.
Food wise, Good new world restaurant (Hao Shi Jie)- chinese restaurant excellent food n great value. Makko- peranankan food if u like authentic . spicy food, relatively great value compare to spore's. Both r near Hatten hotel, less than 10 mins walk away, along that lane with the Starbucks Cafe. Soon Huat bah kut teh from JB is also near there, 15-20 mins if u wal, truly cheap n good. Enjoy !
