| Hmmmm... $105 to watch World Cup without contract. Silver lining is that Singtel is offering free selected matches... Wonder what are the free matches? | |

| Free matches for those involving lower ranked countries?!
Not gonna pay so much to watch.
Lots of free sources on internet.

| Free matches as mandated by Inforcomm authority: Opening game, 2 semi finals & grand final. Avavilable on free to air tv channels; channel 5 or 12.... Singtel not so generous; they will squeeze u dry if they have a choice! | |

| $105 at Brazil playoff time makes it doubly unattractive. Maybe just catch the last few matches at ch5 will be good. | |

| Support the boycott and miss the World Cup for once. Hopefully the price will come down. | |

| Already boycotted the last WC due to the crazy prices. EPL also cancelled due to the unreasonable increase in prices.
I won't be surprised if the actual cost is half that of the $105. They are setting it high enough so that the Starhub subscribers who pay that amount ends up subsidising the current Singtel subscribers. It's the exact same thing as the $60+ for EPL.
I don't like the way Singtel conduct their business so I'll just take it elsewhere. Nothing much we can do.

| I gotten on a strong antenna (less than $50), and get the Indonesian or Malaysian channels to watch the matches like the last time.
Only problem is that half-time commentary are in Malay

| Simontcl, where did u get the antenna? Possible to fix on tv for those living in HDB? Less than $50, World Cup & EPL from Indo & Malaysia berry good deal! | |

| There will always be people who think otherwise. . It's once in 4 years. . Just pay la.. I won't pay simply because they don't need my money. Their executives fly Biz class to KL while everybody else takes Y class.. Stupid as it may seem, this doesn't sound like a company who is prudent with its spending. .. | |

| Why the need for Biz class for 45mins? Paying sky high but no time to enjoy the benefits. Before u finish sipping yr champagne, time to land..... what a waste of $$$!!!! | |

| With so many streaming services and with fibre so cheap, why bother to subscribe anyway? Tell Stinktel might as well charged people for streaming online TV as well. | |

+1. I will be doing exactly this. Not even subscribing to Starhub sports channel at the moment. Competition is suppose to benefit the consumers but unfortunately here in Singapore, any competition offer by the govt or GLC is not benefitting us.

If not wrong gotten from some hardware shop, cos this TV is located in the room facing the BKE, possibly no blockage and can live with the slight "snowy" screen. Guess very much depends on the location on where you are putting up.

| Boycott for me. If everybody does their part and they lose money big time, the smart Alec who elected to bid so high will be blamed. Thats why all must worked in concerted effort and then boycotting will be successful. But then... we have lots of rich individuals who throws their money around making boycotting useless. Sigh...... I boycotted since last WC. | |
