| Try farting as loud as you can the next time you sense that your game is going downhill... | |

| Some points to add:
- Try not to keep score or think about the blown hole you just had. I know its tuff. But a good score is oni known to me towards the end of the rd.
- When u are in the zone, u play the game 1 shot at a time and everything will feel like a daze. So, when u r out of the zone, the shot that matters to u is the shot at hand, not the sliced drive u just had or the 3 putt from 10ft the hole before. Focus on the shot u are facing at the moment and block out all negativity.
- Slow down ur pre-shot routine. I'm not advocating slow play but many times when things start going bad, the body and mind is anxious to hit a better shot following a bad one. Take a step back, a few deep breaths, focus on balance, tempo and swing within urself.

| TS,
I share your frustration man. It has happened to me and it will happen again.
I was playing really well for the past few games and out of a sudden, I blew 6 holes consecutively. triple-triple-triple-double-triple-triple. I almost wanted to throw my bag into the pond but instead I decided to play with only my driver, wedges and putter for 1-2 holes. After that, I got back into the usual routine again.
The wedges just kept my ball out of trouble and helped get my swing back in action. Bottomline is that use what works for the day and keep the rest in the bag for a few holes.

I think I will putt all the way from tee along the buggy cart/path (sure no water hazard) to the green.... and pray that kakis will stay patient and civilized not to use long irons to whack me...

But if you play with Choco..u better swear before he take your $$$ away. To be honest, I'm not fussed to give away $ when I play badly. It reminds me of the need to pick up my game and play better. Golf $ is a strange thing... you always lose some, win some. I believe that at the end of the day, everyone ends up more or less equal. What is more important, however, is the fellowship and friendship with folks like Choco, DS, Fab, Nientsu, GLS, JT, F77, KC, Willy, MC, S8, WMF and others, all of whom I've had the good fortune and pleasure to play with There are many others who I've not played with and that drives me to improve my game to play with them too!
