| Hi all
I'm deciding between the PING G20, G25 and TM RBZ Stage 2 Rescue.. only tried the TM so far, but not the PING.. any opinions which would be good and forgiving and can last me from beginner stage to mid-handicap stage? Thanks

| I think the Ping G25 and the Adams Super Idea hybrids are quite forgiving. Personally, however, I've kept to my Cleveland Launcher hybrids. Love 'em.
But I do agree with Noriki. One man's meat is another man's poison. Best to try the clubs out yourself to be sure.

| Thanks. Yes I do intend to try out the clubs, just trying to narrow down the selections. By the way, where do you go to try out PING clubs? Isetan Scotts? | |

Drop by any of these two PING outlets at Champions golf at Green Fairway (Eng Neo Rd) and Bukit Batok Driving range. Actual demo pc fr hittg on real range balls rather than indoor w taped clubs. Hope its helps.

Personally, using the i20. Compact head, nice sound if I get good contact. When I don't usually the ball still goes relatively straight, I would recommend it.
However erring on the safe side, you can consider MG as well. I don't game them or have the chance to try them. But in this forum or else where its really tough to find bad reviews about MG products.
Hope you find something that is pleasing to you, be it look(@ address), sound(@ impact) or feel.

| I am currently using an Adams Super S Hybrid and would recommend you to give it a try. But again, i do agree with the comments above. At the end of the day, it really boils down to personal preference. | |

| I am using Maruman Shuttle Mid Hybrid 20* and 23* they are excellent for Par 5 2nd shot especially the 23* from rough.. 175m not a problem. These are the old model some years back not the current model. Can't get them anymore.

| Can give the TM Superfast models a try. I owned it before and it is super forgiving and easy to launch. I believe both black head and white heads are the same, just a different paint job. As it is an older model, should be relatively inexpensive.
Like all clubs, try first whenever possible before buying.

| If the legacy black hybrids are every bit as forgiving as the irons and woods, then yes +1 for the hybrids | |

It's the indian not the arrow, but it's a good hybrid and FW easy to play with. But since it's TM, can wait for another 6 mths then buy.

| Just to update this thread, I finally went with the PING's and got the 23* and 17* G25's. I love the 23* - its very forgiving and easy to hit, and I get very consistent straight hits off the mat with it at the range. The 17* I'm still trying to get used to, its slightly longer and my hits aren't as consistent as I would like so I'll leave it at home when I play on the course until I get better consistency with it at the range. No regrets on the 23* at all, and for the 17* we'll see | |
