| Hi all I got the TM Burner 2.0 irons but they don't come with the SW, only the AW. Can anyone recommend a cheap and good SW? I'm still very new to golf so don't need something too fancy... actually used my AW in the sand pit the other day and it worked OK, so are the two interchangeable? Thx | |

| the two are not interchangable. they have different lofts.
Saying the AW is like SW is like saying the 7 iron and 8 iron are the same.
You may want to find out the loft of your AW. if for example your AW's loft is 52*, you may want to choose a 56* SW (+4 degrees).
I have found Cobra's Big trusty rusty or taylormade's ATV to be cheap, easy to use and good. However, these two are not popular among the more advance players. Nonetheless they work well for beginners like you and me.

| I'm using the burner 2.0 iron set as well. If I'm not mistaken, the loft of the AW is 49 degrees. I got myself a Cobra S3 SW from GD at $29. The loft is 54 degrees. Quite decent with no complaints so far.
I'm actually looking for an even higher loft, looking at a 58 degrees lob wedge.
Good luck in your search for a SW.

Are those new wedges, except that they are from past seasons? Yes you are right but some had some rust spots. Some good wedges are going at 49 bucks. Do not expect it to be sparking new looking

| CG10 is a good wedge. I used to be using it before I changed to some Japanese brands as I became a Japanese sucker. Hahah | |

| I am not sure about you, but I tend to like heavy wedge. I feel heavy wedges help me clear the rough and sand way easier.
But all these are very personal.

Good luck in your search for a SW. 49* is a very strong AW. Its more like PW.

| My bad, it's 50 degrees. That's why I got a 54 degrees SW and looking for a 58 to complement them. | |
