| Karaoke Club is not too bad.
On a more serious note, if HH is spongy, you can bet that the rest of them are as well.

| My friends and I played in Palm Resort - Cempeka course last Sunday AM ... There was no spongy feel on the course and the Marshall allowed buggy on the course after 9AM albeit it was pouring a nite before ... But of course don't expect condition like MBGC with good drainage system ...

Not only Palm Resort, Orchard 2 wks ago also buggy on fairway still playable condition, yes some parts of the course is muddy but at least not so bad unlike Ponderosa 3 wks ago or Palm Villa 4 wks ago. But of course, Orchard is very far and deep.

| Palm Resort Melati course is also decently firm, along with Legends and Starhill.
Played them all recently, and the driest is Melati and Legends except that Legends currently have either clay or waterlogged bunkers. Starhill had a couple of pockets where the fairway was squishy but for the most part was fine. There was a par 3 that was practically a swamp between teebox and green though.

| I thought so too, but I was told by Chien (who went the previous week) their fairways are not spared by the recent torrid weather
I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Bro Noriki, If there is doubt better don't go. If there is fear, better don't go. However, being in Singapore does not guarantee you are safe too. Only there is less crime and less crime do not mean no crime. I agreed your saying and that's why I never been to JB for a decade liao. I just wonder what you guys think?

Robberies happened everywhere and anywhere not only in jb. If u sway, u'll kenna. Certain places are hot zones just try to avoid those places. Other than that try to keep profile low and be more street smart then u should be ok.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed Bro, as much as Horizon Hills has consistently nice fairways when it's dry, it's also consistently bad in the rainy season, made more so when you consider how much you're paying to play on the weekend. The course doesn't drain well, turning normally lush fairways into mush. Just prepare yourself mentally for fully plugged balls.

That's one of the reasons why I avoid playing at HH unless there is some sort of subsidy from a tournament organised by ULive for SCs.

| played at HH recently. it was raining before we teed off. if ball lands on fairway, it's ok. just lift and clean
but if land in rough, even if first cut, it's very hard to find because it'd be badly plugged. can be quite frustrating

| Its a PGA Championship course remb. And they re doing a gd work by keepg the buggy on track all years round. Fr tat kind of green fees n in gd exhange rate, personally i ve no complains! Like wat bro Scottycollector quoted, had ball plugged, just picked it up, cleaned, placed it back n ready fr yr second shot! The other nice course w gd drainage system re Orchards Golf club JB. Hve witnessed how the course drained well n quickly after a heavy poured! | |

| 26 dec: played Starhill buggy course. Sporadic soggy areas. However majority of fairways n rough are good. Greens a little slow.
27 dec: walked RJCC / JGCC Fairways n rough are dry. Greens are good. All areas have just been cut short so rough is easy to get out of.
Highly recommended. | |

| Haha. ... I am just a very addicted golfer who loves to play walking golf rather than sit in a buggy.
Golf is a time consuming activity and since i enjoy it so much, I won't have time to do other forms of exercise.
To stay healthy, I choose to incorporate walking with my golf.
Riding a buggy just does not burn the calories at all.
