New lady golfer

I've been playing for a few years but would class myself as a new player. Only got more serious in the last 2 years. Happy to hear the other GR ladies.

I have lots to learn about golf. Kakis like fellow players? That would be great tho my game is slightly embarrassing. I still love the game:)

Im not very regular. In Sg, TMCC. Anyone plays there?

Good to see more and more female indulging in golf ... I would hope to see the ratio of participation in Singapore golfing fraternity between male and female increases to 70:30 at least ...

Hi carm, nice to meet other ladies here. Find golf is very male oriented and competitive sometimes. Prefer to relax on the course! The game is stressful enough haha. Thanks for saying hello, where do you usually play?

Yes indeed, more should be done in Sg to welcome more women to the game. Not just at a competitive level in schools but for recreational players too. Curious, what is the ratio now? Are there stats?

I usually play in JB or Batam! Weekend golf here tends to be a little stressful with having to keep up pace of play!

No embarrassment at all. Everyone single one of us here started out as beginners at one time or another. 

And the purpose of Golf Republic is to bring like-minded golfers who love the game, whatever the skill level together for a little bit of fun and camaraderie.

Sometimes Marina Bay or Keppel where my coach is. Mostly TMCC because I like the grass range. Hitting mats is quite different...
