| Hi all
I have two questions and would be grateful for some help:
1) I took my PC last year and hoping to go for CR later this year. My PC is expired (actually never used it before) and just found out that the PC issuing company is not registered with SGA (!?). Is my only option to retake my PC? Or is there a way to renew with another PC issuer?
2) I saw that Champions Golf/Green Fairways now has course ratings for handicapping. Does it mean that if I accumulate some of my score cards (the 5 x 18 holes or 10 x 9 holes) from there, I can submit to the handicapping club (I intend on MGK)?
Thank you! | |

| 1. PC is usually valid at the issuing club and to show you have basic knowledge of golf rules, golf etiquette and skill. It is useless to retake PC. Just go ahead for CR and obtain your handicap card.
2. All courses should be USGA rated in order to be accepted for handicapping purposes. It should be a proper 9 holes course at least. Green fairways is not a proper 9 holes. Doubt it will be accepted.
However, I am not surprise if MGK accept it as the people handling the handicapping are not very well versed in USGA guidelines. | |

| Green Faiways and Mandai both have course ratings now, the cards can be used for handicapping. | |

| my friends managed to get their handicap from MGK after taking some lessons from star golf. They were assessed by the same coach who gave them lessons. Perhaps this could be a better way if you are also considering some refresher lessons? | |
