Quality of Nike PD Soft balls?

Anyone has feedback that the Nike PD Soft balls dont last?

Mine started peeling after 5 holes / Less than 9..

Mine oso. Dunno issit im lousy or what.

I bought the PD soft 3-ball sleeve and it didn't last. mine broke into half on the 6th hole. could have gotten a birdie but ohwell. I didn't trust nike after that.  

for a ball marketed as SOFT, it felt weirdly v hard...like hitting an egg
but to break into half is just scary...

christmas is coming...time to give them away...HAHA

Maybe the ball is fake?

I m also using the PD soft 3 ball, really soft and can't last me more than 4 rounds as I m a hard hitter!

I used PD soft balls...it usually last full 18 holes unless the hazards decide to keep it. wedge pitch shots usually eats into the ball a but i find that normal in all balls. I've never used(never been able to use..hahha) more than 2 rounds so i wouldn't know how many rounds it can actually withstand getting hit. other than that, i dont really have much complains  on the ball. Never had the ball breaking during a game

I am still using the last batch of PD soft which I bought online about 7 months ago. I heard from my friend who bought recently that the balls wont last for 1-2 rounds.

used these PD soft too. though I'm lousy and don't get to keep the balls for more than 2 rounds I think, they don't feel as bad as it says here. Nv had ball breakage. it's indeed soft as you can feel the control for putting.

I guess the breakage of the balls depends on where you get your balls. If brand new, I don't think it's a problem. If second hand, then had to depend on where the ball was found. Anyway so far, i only had one breakage of ball, it was a Callaway cb series. It hit a tree and the whole layer of cover stock crack and the core can be seen very clearly. At that time, I was cursing what wrong with this cb balls hit tree only crack liao.

tried a sleeve of PD soft yesterday during golf, felt hard off the driver , prefer the sf tour special. might get a few box of noodle to try.

Where did u buy these balls?

I am using PD soft and they are ok.

There is a possibility that it is imitation or due to manufacturing flaw ... Never heard of a brand new ball that could break into two ... It is in fact beyond human strength to do so unless due to manufacturing flaw or it is very old & corroded ...

Another possibility could be due to quality control issue for a few batches. Usually I look at the selling price, cos it just doesn't make sense if it is way too cheap.

i use PD softs once in a while and have to say that i like them quite a bit! never had one break in half on me, but it definitely gets chewed up pretty quick, especially with the wedges. usually it's 1 - 2 pd soft's per round.

a pretty good ball for the value though, about CDN $20 for a box of 12

I find PD soft quite ok when I used it long time back. Never had issues with them.

Sincee we're here, can someone share the significance of golf balls? like do they REALLY matter? like can actually add 10-20m?

Bro, 220-240m consider very very far for me. Dunno when can I reach the distance

no wonder the ball i using can last very long as I can't hit hard.. Driver only 210m

Hit hard does not means you can hit far ... It is speed that gives one distance ...
