| About had enough of Taylormade products! Not sure if any GRians have the same sentiments?
Their QC for their products SUCKS, unless I'm always the unlucky one to gotten those defective ones.
My latest encounter was my TM Tour Stand Bag (Model CB151L), the metal rings for the sling was rusting like SH^%! The materials used are really really lousy - Made in China. I had to revert to my Nickent bag (more than 4 yrs and no visible rust on the rings. My wife's Callaway abt the same time as the TM also shows no visible rusting!
Worst was I feedback via the websites (US, Sinagpore, International sites) and ZERO response!!!
My past experience was messed up swing weights for my R7XD clubs! And the 7 iron head dislodged from the shaft luckily not fully on the R7 irons!
BOYCOTT TM TILL THEY IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY!!!!! ARGHHHH..............
PS: Realised a revelation that the tour players irons are crafted by master club makers using TM name and nothing close to the mass produced products from China!!!! So dun be conned by the tour players endorsements!

| I do have the rustin on the rings of my stand bags. I tot it was my sweat on the gloves which I used to hang on the ring. But I am still find with this... probably not quality problem.. it's just not meant to be stainless steel in the first place. As for my past R7 irons.. no problem. Isolated incident? | |

| Have you tried checking the swing weights on your R7? But if you are hitting fine, then dun bother. The rusting is really really bad..... damn low quality steel loh ....compared to my Nickent and Callaway. I mean rings also cannot give stainless steel ah? | |

| I used to be a TM fan... not anymore but not because of the poor quality. It's because of their price, they drop like boomz in weeks.... haa haa....
In terms of quality, I find that it's pretty decent. My TM stand bag which is almost a year old still looks new. I go to the range with it almost once a week, sometimes twice a week. I've had 2 sets of TM irons so far. None of them rusts... so I'm not sure if it's a QC issue.... Anyways, I'm changing to Titleist because they ROCK!
Cheers | |

| NEVER buy TM equipment sold in Asia. If you are going to buy Taylormade, go online onto Ebay US and buy from there. See what's in my bag below? ALL bought from US, and no complaints about quality OR price. | |

| I've never had problems with my TM clubs. That said, I'm sorry to hear about your quality issues but they may be isolated incidents (quite unfortunate incidents too). | |

| My driver, woods, hybrids and putter are all Taylormade. Got 5 clubs in my bag all from TM. No wonder my shots and my game are always so lousy. Dam the taylormade QAQC. PS: Its always not the player but the clubs which shank the shots | |

| Well, to each his or her own. If the clubs don't work, get different ones. Sell the old ones off | |

| Hmmm... the irons I have still can rectify quite easily, so not much complaints. BUT THE BAG IS ULTIMATE... a bit of rust due to scraping is understandable BUT 50% of the ring start rusting....RIDICULOUS! I agree with X-Man - SWITCH TO TITLIEST!!!!! (OR CALLAWAY) Those who have TM and yet to try TITLEIST, PLS DO SO... AND EXPERIENCE THE NEXT LEVEL! (Hope I didn't pissed any hardcore TM fans! ) Though TIT may be a bit more ex but quality is ensured! No $ like me, buy older model... using the CM735, hoping to change to AP2 soon! | |

| From this.....OEM brands have to learn that the best way to get customer is learn to make a very good bag first....
actually one of the best stand bag is a made by Nike....considering a switch to Nike VR?

| Nike Tour Stand bag. Best there is. 14 dividers, stands upright and have superb sturdy legs. Even a cooler pocket to keep that drink cold. When is Titleist ever going to match it? | |

| actually titleist makes a pretty flimsy standbag if you compare it with the S82/3 range of staff bags. | |

| Sun Mountain are pretty good bags, from what I've read.
I like my Ogio one now as it has lots of pockets but I don't like the the cart bag handle which they claim is meant to allow the strap to go through since it means that the bag is now placed backwards.

| Ha, I was using a Nike stand bag and had last changed to Titliest .... I agreed totally what DGman had said....... Nike bag still much better in quality in this area... Regret selling off my Nike bag.... their handle and stand in pariticular is much better... Wanted to get a bag to match my sticks...... - DGman wrote:

| I have been using my TM Pro-combo irons for many years and have not had issue with it. In terms of bags, I used to have an Ogio and gave me the biggest nightmare. The first day I brought it home, it did a "yi zhi ma", i.e. the legs started sliding till the legs were parallel with the clubs in my bags. I managed to get it change but didn't last long also. Few months later, it performed the same stunt on me again. Then the handle broke and I finally had it disposed. | |

| Bought "i" a regular TM stand bag at a sale ; after a few months the legs started to slide open. Bought another TM stand bag at S$200 ; return home legs started to slide open right away. Brought back to shop; salesman tell us becos' clubs too heavy ! After this, no more TM stand bags for us. My 4yr old NIKE stand bag is still going strong. Clubs too heavy ... sigh ... i also swear never to go back to tat shop ever again ! DGMan, don't laugh lah ... every time talk about stand bag, the wound reopens. So when you going to have stock for BFG stand bag ? | |

| hmmm my friend's adidas stand bag also has trouble standing as well. it needs a really rough surface so the legs have something to grip.
my mizuno stand bag on the other hand is holding up so far..
