| Thicken? You mean additional layers or change to midsize? | |

| have the usual stock rubber golf pride grips on my irons which i find a bit too thin. Not looking to change grips. Am told that they can be thickened by applying tape under the grip.

| Fitter at Fairway Club Taman Jurong, if grip can be removed without damaging then adding tape is no problem... | |

| On the other hand can also try BFG at Bukit Merah and see if you can salvage your grips. I am sure Eric could give you some advice.

| there is also uncle poh at the basement level of cdans, bukit batok driving range. some grips cannot be stretched/thickened - need to go midsize then. | |

| and its not exactly easy to remove the grip without ripping it off and since they're off perhaps you could consider midsized grips I'm using Winn Soft Midsized on all my clubs, my glove size is 26 they're very comfortable, you can consider them cheers! | |

That is a very good question. jumboburger1376, to DIY grip change/grip adjustment is not about the amount of money u save, but more of an interest to do your own club fitting. but if u are not looking for hassle, just go to a club fitter. another one would be alex of hong leong gardens.

| I also have glove size 26. Changed mine to Golf Pride midsize multicompound at BFG. Never look back since.
Adding tapes will increase the diameter, but it will also stretch the rubber and lose the feel and softness of the grip.
