Sticky head covers Empty
PostSubject: Sticky head covers   Sticky head covers I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 25, 2013 3:34 am

I have bought a set of lynx tigeress for my gf not too long ago.

Apparently the head cover started to get sticky.

The driver, woods got some residue once I put the head cover on.

Anyone has any idea how to go about cleaning the headcovers?

Or do I need to get new ones?

Thanks in advance.

If there's residue, this means that there's something inside the covers which is giving way - perhaps the rubber or material inside has become brittle. I doubt it's something you can clean.

Your headcovers are decomposing, you definitely need new ones. Probably a result of the set being stored for too long.

No point cleaning them, it's just going to keep coming back as the material decomposes further.

Time to throw in a new set of headcovers for her as well. Very Happy

Probably easier to purchase new head covers. Cleaning them might only stop the residue transfer for a short time.
