FYI, for the past 20 years, I have not come across any JB golf club asking you to show handicap or pc? Every club is looking for $$$ and not worried u got hc or pc.
The only exception is MBGC in Spore. What so great about MBGC?

I am a member of Tg Puteri and have signed in many many guests over the years. Never come across to show hc or pc.

For A course on weekends, I was asked to show Handicap card. Years ago.

yeah, that's what i've heard. no need to show PC/handicap when paying for tee-off.

how about when you are signing up as a member? i would suppose they would not check though.

still, with what i'm seeing, i should not be having a problem.

Last year i did filled up the form to sign up and was accepted at Puteri no queries on handicap; although last minute back out as my kaki cannot join.

No worries in JB they won't check. I have played in Puteri a few times this year no questions asked. Agreed they need the $$$ and u just act as though you are a seasoned golfer Smile

Hi guys, curious if TP has caddy during weekdays? usually weekdays non member can play A course correct?

Don't recall seeing any caddy at TP ... Except on Mondays during maintenance, guests can play at A course during Weekdays. If you plan for weekdays, do let me know will like to join. Thx.

No caddies in Tanjong Puteri. In the early years, caddies were available but full of problems and scrapped later.

Tanjong Puteri is opened 7 days a week, am & pm. Usually 1 course is closed for maintenance on weekday. On Monday, B & C courses opened for play.

Course A is good, course C is poorly maintained especially on the green full of weeds.
Have not tried course B yet but I heard is good.

heard the jam is really terrible nowadays. even for weekday afternoon coming back to singapore.

it seems like immigration is tightening up security during this festive period.

As of 9.15 AM, "Jam BKE to Woodlands".

3 days ago, I was puzzled with traffic leaving Singapore @ Causeway. Barely any vehicular traffic ONLY walkers. Before custom jammed packed sardines.

saw the news too. can't believe that even pedestrians are facing long jams.

i'm going in tomorrow for morning game and then straight back. wish me luck in making it back before night fall. Shocked

Depends on luck & earlier timings. Yesterday was Friday went to Legends early game tee off 745am (and we had kolo mee bkfast beside GoodHope hotel) and it was smooth all the way no jams.

However, heavy downpour around noon left 4 holes to play Sad

( After quick lunch, about 230pm returned home. Traffic at JB immi was clear & smooth while at Wdlands consider fast took about 20mins to clear.... not bad. Was expecting the worst esp all the bad headline news.

Don't they realize it is not Johor side jam. Singapore tightened security root cause of jam.

By adding RFID scanner in CIQ will cause more jams for Singapore traffic into Malaysia.

Driverless Vehicles cleared fast.

Never learnt lessons from MACS implementation.

Anyway, Sg tighten security for the safety of all of us. So don't blame them for "stopping" us to play golf in Msia.

i feel it's all a matter of luck and timing.

went in last sat at 450am, stuck for 40mins at singapore side. came out at 2pm. cleared everything within 20mins max.
