Tue Aug 20, 2013 11:53 pm Jamie Sadlowski is a loooooong hitter, he's a 2x remax world long drive champion so his swing is vicious.... he's recently signed with callaway and i posted one of his tips on how to hit the ball further a couple days ago... he was invited onto the golf channel for a show called the golf fix with michael breed recently... this is his 2nd visit to the show, and the 2nd time he's done this to their golf simulator... this first time with a driver and this time with a 7-iron!!!http://www.eighteenunderpar.com/sadlowski-breaks-simulator-again/

Wed Aug 21, 2013 12:48 pm The screen at SimiGolf's simulators is made up of (front to back) an elastic white cloth, follow by a thick 3" blanket, a 1ft spacing from the wall which is covered with a 4" thick sponge. Wonder if anyone can break/penetrate that... If he or she can, I will damn.. haha

I figure he probably makes more money going around appearing at various events as a golf entertainer of sorts as well as being the brand ambassador for Cally as compared to some touring pros. From his website apparently "All in all Jamie will travel more than 230 days this year performing his shows." I'm sure the income is more steady than say guys who play on tour and fail.

Playing on the PGA tour (or almost any tour for that matter) requires more than just distance. The golfer needs to have a perfect (or an almost perfect) all-round game which means distance, accuracy, short game, putting, scramble etc. skills. This is in addition to being mentally, physically and emotionally super fit. It's rarely about blasting the ball 300m+ for each drive. While that helps, I doubt it's enough to get the golfer going on tour, let alone do well on tour.
