Agreed, I find it especially fascinating when the retail mark-ups and margins are so incredible yet people buy and say it's cheap.

but i totally agree with you kraken.... mass produced, yet each piece is costing sooo much... in fact, if you noticed, wastage of materials are at minimal too ! mass production + little wastage due to production , yet pricing still soar high...

Somemore they dont spend much on packaging. Unlike Japanese snack, one small peanut pack more nicer than ferrero rocha.
