| SK,
Just go ahead and buy! Seriously I would use the same brands as the wedge. Before you confirm the purchase, it may be worthwhile to test with others that have the same wedge or use the same loft to makesure that it meets its purpose of giving the length that you desired.

| I see that you mention you like your 53 more than your Pw, I think you should get a 48 with spinner shaft. For simple mental solution, this will be your 53 but with a 48 deg loft. | |

| another case of black cat and white cat. G and 48 got BIG different? Just buy what you like. Wedge will wear and tear after you use it often. | |

| would check what is the loft of my "P" . If it is the modern club that is 45 degree, then the 48 would be nice. what is gap W - to fill in the gap between clubs. U can check loft and lie with any good fitters, then decide what to do with your life. Buy - very easy, put it to good use - not so easy selling it away - very painful especially reshafting it with expensive shaft.
if your bluurders n sits.tar can lend u one to try better.
1 cent of advise. good luck

| Are you that set on buying another wedge? Why not adjust your game to avoid playing from 90-100m mark? For par 5s, take a club shorter for your second shot so you play your PW instead
Or you can always choke down PW and open club face to play.. I think the ROI of your wedge may not commensurate to your expectation..

Yes, that will resolve my "thirst" issue, but will create a big hole in my pocket:) so i am going to try out a 48 from RT this weekend. if it works to my distance, then guess i will have to ..... burn my pocket

Thanks bro, very true opinion. the ROI for the wedge may not be that high. Plus, my standard is not yet there to be able to "try to avoid 90-100m". Most of time (in fact all) i just swing and pray ... pray that my ball is still in play and not in water/rough/woods/swamp/etc ...

buy balls to practice partial swings, extension, new shaft, new wedge and shaft.... Think i have more or less made up my mind ... since i am executing full swing to achieve the distance of 90-100, i should probably go with the G that is consistent with my other iron set. this way i can cut down the mental confusion of full swing with different irons and swing weight ... and cost down some cost too
