Curious, I asked a few pros about they process before they start their game. I like to pick things that they do and things that avoid confusion during a game to ensure it is according to the rules.

- Most of them would be using same type of balls.  They will normally announce what type and numbering on the balls.

- If it is a provision, they will announce it but they will also advice the type of balls and numbering which is not the same.

Any other good or best practices we as amateurs should do as well?

That said, on tour as shown on TV, quite many of them are slow. Even pgatour is fighting to improve pace of their tournaments. I'm sure pros play faster when money is not at stake but if amateurs follow what's on TV, were going to be even slower. Except if we all watch Snedeker, Fowler, Donald, Bubba, Junhavasdikul...these guys are fast.

What pros do that we can try follow maybe is to have a game plan. knowing the right yardage, where to aim/not to aim and using the right club is half the battle. The other half is where pros and amateur differ Laughing

So much thoughts run through my mind during range session, always trying to find a solution to my inconsistent swing.

I like the quote "Find something, stick to it and work hard."

Thanks for sharing Khorkar, great article!
