- Seiko, I think the place you mentioned is Nagoya food court. It's a hawker center.
If you want real good live seafood, go for 933 or 555 seafood. It's a bit far from Nagoya but the place is not bad. Did I mentioned it's cheap? No, I never, it's a bit expensive. Just tell the taxi 933 seafood and they will be glad to bring you there.
There is another place with cheaper and good seafood, if you know how to pronounce "big stone" in indonesia, just tell the taxi driver and he will bring you there.
Bro JC , live seafood ? You may want to try the seafood near the longest bridge in Batam. real gd and cheap. Local recommended.

In batam u can tell the taxi driver and they can bring u to their "fav" place cos they earn commission. I chose Nagoya bcos its near to the hotel n Sports massage and quite safe! I would like to go for 933 or 55 seafood unless ur avatar gal is there!!! Hey anyone is goin there for 2D1N golf? pls let me know. I would like to join

| South Link is another beautiful course to go in Batam... I find it much better in terms of maintenance and scenic wise. But abit far from the jetty, need a good 45min drive. Yes 933 seafood is cheap and good. | |

Eh bro. Pls share with me cos I wanna play in Batam or Bintan also. Why did you choose batam and not bintan? Are there nice resorts by the sea for the wives (after the guys go play golf)? How much for a game? Did you do a package deal or you just book game and hotel separately? Thanks for your advise

| Hi jurongtiger, there is 2D1N 36holes package for Batam. It will be more worthwhile compared to just 1D 18holes. U can bring ur wife there to shop in town area while u golf.
If u need local contact for 2D1N package let me know.
Cheers | |

| Just came back from 2D1N Batam Weekday package at, http://www.palmsprings.com.sg/golfpackages.php
Played the 4 9holes courses and I would say some holes are pretty challenging. 1st day weather was hot while 2nd day was cool and wet...enjoyed both days games.
Stayed at Novotel and requested for the newly renovated rooms, pleasantly satisfied with the room standard. I would advised stay at Nagoya as there are shopping malls, cheap seafood restaurants and cheap massage places to spent the time after the game.

there will b handling charge for golf if u want them to handle the bags for u. For Harris, u will alight at waterfront terminal and the 3 courses nearest to it are Indra puri, batam hill and south links.

Not advisable to stay at novatel if you wanna to play batam hill. Stay at Harris or Holiday Inn. Rate for hotel is around S$90 includg breakfast. (Twin Share) They also have 2 bdrm suite which cost around S$140. (Quad Share)
