Furry Creek Golf and Country Club

Hey everyone, July 1st is Canada Day and we were lucky enough to have a 3-day long weekend. We took that opportunity to play at Furry Creek Golf and Country Club near Squamish, British Columbia. It's located on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler (a world class ski resort!) and about 30 - 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We took a couple of photos and posted them on our facebook page, it's definitely one of the most scenic golf courses we've ever played - check out our photos on our facebook page!

And if you've ever seen the movie Happy Gilmore, Furry Creek was one of their film locations! They filmed the scene where Bob Barker beat up Adam Sandler here, haha!

Very scenic course and the course condition looks great. Btw what's the best time of the year to play there? what's the green fees including buggy? Would like to play there on my next trip to vancouver.

Course conditions were really good, but buggy's were still cart path only because we had a lot of rain last week. It's mountain golf, so a lot of uneven lies on the fairways and pretty narrow.

Best time to play golf in Vancouver, that's hard to say! It really depends on how much rain we get throughout the year, but the best months to play would be around mid-May to end of September. During peak season at Furry Creek, the green fee is CDN $99 including buggy! Right now because of their 20 year anniversary, all green fees are 20% off.
