| Can't wait to test it out when they release it - kind of reminds us of the JDM Legacy line at first glance! They seem to have come out with a lot of drivers this year!

| Looks like Callaway is taking a leaf out of Taylormade's marketing strategy
- Overwhelm the market with a flurry of products every 3-6 months - Be daring to lay claim to club performance be it adjustability or distance or accuracy - sign many tour players and have serious presence on tour
TM got a formidable foe now! Let's see how TM reacts

| now you have seen my new driver........oops. this one is schedule for release in the US in September.
in fact product lineup has been planned all the way to 2015...and its exciting. however the marketing and sales channels needs to be seriously looked at here in Singapore. if all the sales will go to Golf Direct because of price, nobody will bother with marketing which also include demos, trials and professional fitting.
sorry OT....nice one and this one looks like its develop in Sheffield UK. i am serious cos one of the main R&D sits in Halam University, Sheffield.

Ditto. The turnover of products by Callaway for the past year has been aggresive.

| Chio model!
But do note that the adjustable hosel for the Optifit is not compatible with previous models. So cannot interchange whatever shafts one has currently on existing Cally drivers

| Wow! Wasn't too long ago when they launched X-Hot series. If more companies are throwing in more models at a faster pace, this is a good sign for golfers. However, can we really afford to keep buying? I suspect this trend cannot sustain as companies have to maintain costly R&D efforts to keep up with the competition. IMO, This forum is the best place to wait for 'durians' to drop. Be patient and you shall be rewarded. | |
