| I happen to see this Quite old Taylormade burner, and is thinking of purchasing it . But I wonder will the club break or have any damages while using it as it's been hanging on the "clip"( those brackets that we see drivers hanging on itfor quite long.. ( like will the ferrule break or shaft break?) Sorry if this question sound a little "stupid" but I'm still studying so spending on a new driver have to think twice.. Thanks! | |

| Hi sebastian, its hard to answer ur question. it's like asking us if a 2nd hand car will breakdown after 1 day.
generally speaking though, nothing lasts forever, and wear and tear will occur to golf clubs, as with everything else in life. so applying this general rule, the older the club, the higher the chances of it wearing out. however, it is arguably for this same reason that older clubs are much cheaper - ie the price of the club has already factored in its age and susceptibility to wearing out
from my own experience, when i first started out golf, i bought a 2nd hand maruman exim nano impact driver, that was about 5 years old. after using it for about 3months, the shaft snapped and the head flew off.
my advice is to hang around GR and wait for a better buy. there have been a few TM R9 going for a very good price.

| It's actually one of the Burner series.. But if the shaft break at the ferrule area, is it still able to reshaft? | |

| I understand that carbon fibre has life span... Carbon fibre is used in the shaft right? | |

Actually one of the reason is because, it's black in colour, ( i really cannot accept a white driver haha!)

| Perhaps can nego a good price if still interested. As for the original shaft, use for as long as possible or until break or when realized cannot play it (always feel Burner and RBZ driver shaft is too long). Reshafting is easily done with club fitter. | |
